ISO22716 International standards for cosmetics
The Standardization Organization (ISO) developed the "ISO22716:2007" standard in November 2007: Cosmetics-Good Manufacturing Practices. This standard provides cosmetic manufacturers with operational guidelines for production, control, storage, and more. The ISO22716 Cosmetic International Standard regulates the management requirements of cosmetics manufacturers; hardware requirements (factory, production site, equipment, etc.), procurement and use of materials, and hygiene and quality control of product manufacturing processes, personnel hygiene management, product inspection, and abnormal quality. Disposal and product complaints and recalls.
