GMPC (Good Manufacturing Practice Cosmetics)
GMPC (Good Manufacturing PracticeCosmetics) was first promulgated by the US Congress in 1963 to regulate pharmaceutical production. It is also the world's first GMP. The FDA, the US Food and Drug Administration, enacted food GMP in 1980 to regulate food production. In 1992, the FDA issued the Cosmetics GMP Guidelines，to guide cosmetic manufacturers. In order to ensure that the cosmetics produced and sold in its territory (including imported from outside the EU) will not cause harm to consumers' health, the European Union issued the Cosmetics Directive 76/768/EE on July 26, 1976, 2 The seventh edition of the directive was issued on the 27th of the month, and the latest directive requires factories that produce cosmetics to meet good operating practices.
